Lilly

From the garden this summer. I love our lilies but I never seem to be able to capture what I see when I look at them in the garden, but this one gets pretty close.

Trees on Baldwin

I walk down this street every day but mostly look down or straight ahead. When I take my camera with me I seem to look up instead, or rather, look up as well. When walking down the street I notice the pavement and the houses but seem to neglect the trees and skies. The trees are probably the better part of the neighbourhood. This was taken at sunset, during the onset of winter. If you could look down from this view you would see the first snow of the season.

Charlie Waits

Charlie waiting hopefully for me to come upstairs

When he thinks it’s time to go to bed Charlie will scream at me and pace back and forth between me and the door. He will do this until he is exhausted and then finally gives up. Here he has almost given up but is sitting at the top of the stairs waiting to see whether or not I am following him to bed. This worked in the favour of this photo as he sat still while I took this 3 second exposure shot without a flash. After this shot he gave up on me and went to bed.

Since I haven’t been posting anything for a while I thought I would put up some old stuff. This was done sometime around 1990
